What does abundance mean to you?

Redefining Abundance: A Journey Beyond Material Wealth

This page is an invitation to reflect on your own definition of abundance and explore how it can shape a life of fulfilment, purpose, and gratitude.

Abundance is often seen as a measure of wealth or possessions, but what if it’s more than that? What if abundance is about the richness of our experiences, the connections we nurture, and the joy we find in the everyday moments?

For me, abundance has been a journey - one that has stretched my heart, challenged my beliefs, and taught me to look beyond the surface of what we are told it should be.

I’ve lived through seasons of deep trust in life’s provision, especially during my time as a single mum. Back then, life had a way of bringing just what I needed to my door - no more, no less. It was a delicate balance, like walking a tightrope of faith. But then came a season of financial hardship that shook me to my core.

I found myself left in crippling debt, filing for bankruptcy while cradling my daughter, just a few months old. I worked hard to rebuild my life, but as I clawed my way back, I realised the wounds ran deeper than the numbers in my bank account. They were etched into the beliefs I carried from childhood - the echoes of a working-class family where there was never enough, despite endless hours of toil.

I grew up hearing phrases like, “Money doesn’t grow on trees,” “We don’t have a money tree at the bottom of the garden,” and “I’m not made of money.” Maybe you’ve heard them too? These words weren’t meant to harm, but they shaped my understanding of abundance and scarcity in ways I didn’t fully grasp until adulthood.

I hold no blame toward my parents; they were doing the best they could in a system designed to keep us all chasing more. But I’ve realised that healing these old wounds isn’t just for me - it’s for my children too. I want to be the change-maker, breaking the cycle and showing them a world where abundance isn’t a far-off dream but a state of being.

And yet, even with this awareness, I still find myself caught in the web of this financial matrix we live in - a world that seems almost impossible to navigate at times. It’s as though there’s a piece of magic some of us are missing, a deeper truth just beyond our reach.

So, I ask you: What does abundance mean to you? Is it something you’re chasing, or is it something you’re ready to uncover within yourself?

This is a space for us to explore those questions together. To redefine abundance not as something external, but as something alive in the richness of who we are, the connections we cherish, and the beauty of the lives we are creating.

Let’s discover the magic we’ve been missing—together.

"Close your eyes and take a deep breath. If you could paint a picture of abundance in your life, what would it look like?"

Journal Prompts for Exploring Abundance

Leaning into the idea of abundance is a deeply personal journey. Taking time to reflect on your relationship with abundance - in all its forms - can open doors to understanding, healing, and growth. Here are some gentle prompts to guide you:

  • What does abundance feel like in your body?

  • Where in your life do you already experience abundance, even in small ways?

  • How did your upbringing shape your beliefs about abundance and scarcity?

  • What messages about money, success, or "enoughness" do you still carry?

  • If you could redefine abundance for yourself, what would it look like?

  • How can you invite more gratitude for the abundance already present in your life?

  • What would it feel like to trust that life will provide for you?

  • How do nature and its cycles teach you about the flow of abundance?

Take a deep breath, grab your journal, and allow yourself the time and space to explore these questions. There’s no rush, no right or wrong answer - just the beauty of your unfolding story.

Abundance begins within. Let’s find it, one reflection at a time.

What if there was another way….

I have always believed there is another way to create abundance and foster community—one that feels more aligned, more soulful. Recently, I was introduced to a powerful shift away from the matrix we’ve been conditioned to navigate, a return to the old ways. A way of being rooted in true gifting and receiving, where exchange is heartfelt and meaningful.

What would that mean to you? How would it feel to truly receive without hesitation or guilt? To trust in the flow of giving and know that your dreams and desires—those precious visions you hold close—could find the support they need to flourish? Imagine what it would be like to see those dreams come to life, nurtured by a community that believes in you and the power of collective abundance.

I’m so excited to introduce you to The Evokin Collective - a new common-unity where abundance and true connection come together. Let’s take some time to explore this beautiful vision together.
