here I am
it has taken me a long time to be able to say thEse words….
Here i am!
Like many of us, my story has been full of twists and turns, but ultimately it has made me the woman I am today - a woman striving to remain aligned to her purpose, to know in every moment that I am enough, just as I am. That my sacred heart is a treasure to be looked after, that my voice is valid and is welcome in this world, and that I am important in my own life too.
I’m a mum of two amazing kids, wife to a beautiful, switched-on, conscious man. I am a wellbeing coach, and was a holistic therapist for over 30 years. I am a sacred circle holder, a creator of safer spaces, inner dance facilitator, ordained interfaith minister, the founder of Sacred Sister Women’s Community, published author, sound healer, reiki master, meditator, angel therapist, plant magician, retreat host, event organiser, a phoenix rising, creator of ceremonies, and a lover of nature, outdoor swimming, trees and life. My favourite animals are horses, and I love the sea and the beach but hate sand in my feet. I am late diagnosed adhd, and now I know I can see how it has been my superpower my whole life, like the missing part of a very long puzzle, the a-ha moment in my life along with the deep spiritual transition that is Menopause.
When people talk to me, they often say, "Wow, you do all these things, how do you fit it all in?" Well, it is indeed my life. I’ve taught myself these days to rise early every day, I am a Leo, a manifesting generator in human design, which shows that I am supposed to be busy. It is where I thrive. I am also here to make a difference in this world, just by being me, and it has taken time to work that out, but here I am. I am also learning in this new stage of life how not to be “working” all the time, to enjoy busy-ness in a different way. I am a recovering workaholic. I know there are more of you out there reading this too, so have a little check-in: What are you avoiding by staying in the busy-ness?
I am proud to still be learning every day, integrating all the bits I left behind through fear and trauma. This journey is about uncovering more of myself and understanding who I am on a deeper level. I am not a finished product, and I don’t believe we ever are. I believe that we come to earth to learn many lessons and that we have choices: to step in and say YES to life & to heal along the path, or to keep cycling round and round, pretending that all is well, hiding behind the smile, and forgetting who we truly are
- a beautiful creation of love, with a wild, precious and sacred heart.
My Approach
I believe that none of us are broken! We don’t have to find ourselves or piece ourselves back together. Instead, we can embrace every part of our journey as it is. I don't subscribe to the notion that we need to let go of our past or things that no longer serve us, nor do I believe that simply grounding ourselves each day will suddenly make us feel more balanced or stable.
What I do believe in is the power of working with our fears and traumas, finding ways to be authentically ourselves in this lifetime, and embracing who we are in every moment. I believe in keeping it real, acknowledging that we have shit days, but knowing our entire life doesn’t have to follow suit.
I believe in the transformative power of kindness, courage, vulnerability, forgiveness, and love - all of which must start within ourselves. If you are constantly saying yes to everyone else and forgetting yourself, then something needs to change. Prioritising your own well-being is not selfish; it's essential.
And here’s the truth: If I can do it, YOU can too. We are all capable of profound transformation and growth. Together, we can step into our power, honour our sacred hearts, and create lives filled with purpose, balance, and joy.
